Our Bar

Our bar is the heart of the inn — a welcoming space where locals and visitors alike can relax and enjoy a drink in characterful surroundings.

We offer a wide selection of locally brewed ales, refreshing ciders, craft gins, quality spirits, and a variety of soft drinks — including non-alcoholic beer and wine. Whether you're stopping in for a quiet pint or gathering with friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The bar is naturally divided into three unique areas, each with its own charm:

• The Main Bar
  Overlooking the quay, the main bar is full of traditional character, featuring exposed wooden beams, a large open fireplace, and displays of old jugs and pots. It's the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere and watch the world go by.

• The Snug
  Tucked away at the rear of the building, the snug is a cosy retreat, popular with our regulars. With a real flame gas fire and a tobacco-stained ceiling that speaks to its history, it’s ideal for a peaceful drink in a relaxed setting.

• The Family Room
  Just off the main bar, this separate room offers a gas fire and a comfortable, family-friendly space to unwind.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all bar areas, so feel free to bring your four-legged friends along.
